The Australian Research Council's (ARC) Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) recognizes promising early career researchers and provides them with up to three years of support. It is a highly competitive award, with only 200 being awarded nationwide. Congratulations Paul!
The purpose of this award is to recognise distinguished contributions in any area of Australian research in microbiology by scientists in a formative stage of their career, rather than to reward senior scientists for a lifetime of achievement.
